The Hall occupies a magnificent location, overlooking a natural limestone gorge created by the River Wye. Designed by Thomas Johnson of Lichfield and built in 1835, the hall has remained in private ownership and most of its original features are remarkably well preserved.
The grounds and gardens, presently being restored to the original planting plan, are open to the public during the Summer. Cressbrook Hall is an imposing family home which we enjoy sharing with guests in an informal and friendly fashion.
Bedrooms are all en suite with tea/coffee, T.V. and most have wonderful views of Water-cum-Jolly and Upperdale. 1 x double, 1 x twin and 1 x family suite. You may prefer to occupy a property in the grounds and come in to the Hall for one of our special breakfasts.
